Ok a while ago i ran out of my citalopram (20mg) medication and it took a while for me to get some more. In the meantime i was quite ok and didn't suffer from panic attacks and hardly felt anxious. When i started taking my medication again my anxiety seemed to come back. As a result i stopped taking it for a few days (and felt fine again). I've again took my pill today after not doing so on saturday or sunday and i've been anxious all day. What is happening? I've been on Citaprolam since August 2005 and have only recently gone down from 40mg to 20mg and i was okay for a while. Do i need to go back to 40mg or do i need to change my medication?

I would say you really need to discuss this with your GP. Going on and off your medication like that isn't healthy at all!
If you feel better without it then you should tell this to your doc and discuss whether the medication is right for you.

hmmm. i was thinking that even though i feel anxious now when i take my meds - perhaps it might be just my body adjusting to being off of it for a while. Should i take my pill every day for the next two weeks or so to see if i adjust? Or should i just go straight to my Doctor?

Discuss this with your doctor, the brain and body can get all mixed up when stopping and starting meds.
