menopause and hrt + anxiety meds

Just a question for all the ladies of a certain age on site can you take anxiety meds with HRT and if so which one would you recommend as i am having a really rough tome at the moment, any help really appreciated.:unsure:

Well in theory you should be able to take both together since HRT is just a hormone replacement med, but I would just call either your docs sugery or any pharmacy and they will tell you for sure.

Hi Leony,
Citalopram is used for the anxiety plus the hot flushes, I dont get any flushes until my 'due on' date and even then I had two mild ones and that was it.

Oh, is that why I don't have any hot flushes, not that I feel I'm missing out or anything, I just wondered, lol!
