So my doc gave me Lexapro.. I also got some Zantac for my GERD, which I've had on and off for forever.. but the second day I took the Lexapro I thought I was going to die!! The worst GERD pain ever.. up allll night. I stopped the Lexapro because I couldn't stand it!
And what's worse is that, although I haven't had it as bad, I still get pain in my chest from the GERD. For me, my GERD has always been beside the left breast and kind of through to the other side on the back near the left shoulder blade. I've convinced myself that I have an ulcer because it tends to feel better if I eat something, although the pain is much better than it was that first night... scared, scared, scared, scared! :(
