I have heard the more some people read, the worse they get. I think it depends on what you read.

I am the opposite (due to most of the things I read are inspirational like someone got over it and they were the same as me etc) but I think it depends what frame of mind you are in.

I reckon most stuff you are reading is NON inspirational? (guesing)..

I find reading soemthing where someone has got over it actually gives me hope especially if I am positive but if I am negative or its NON inspirational then it can bring anxiety on more indeed.

Hope that helps anyway

Yes, it can happen to some people that the more you read the more you take it on board and realize that you can get worse.

This part is all about being vulnerable to the power of suggestion.

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

i have recently read a book about a success story and the girl in it said she used to get worse after reading a book. many times she put it down for fear of getting worse. but she new this was another avoidence she must face and she gently made herself read the book. within time it began to help

hope this helps
