Bit of an ood one here....What happens if you swallow it, a tiny tiny amount? I.e. if it were on your skin the night before, you started picking it off the next day and then realised that you'd put your finger on your mouth, thus swallowing some in theory? I've looked it up - the ingredient anyway - and it looks like pretty nasty stuff.. apparently its the same as aspirin. Is this true, my mum doesnt seem at all worried, should I try to persuade her to call nhs 24 or something?

I guess by the fact that none of you have replied, that I have nothing to worry about? x

I think by now if it was going to do something bad it would have done, you'll be ok^^

it seems like you only apply a small amount of the gel to the area to begin with, so I'm pretty sure you'd be fine, hundreds of people probably have done the same thing with all sorts of medicine and gels......

it's just your anxiety making you over worry and blow things out of proportion
but it might be good to call the nurse as then you will know your are fine.

I called the nurse after getting a tiny amount of washing up liquid in my eye. I was in a right state!
