Hi all

I just wanted to post a gentle reminder about giving/receiving any medical adivce on here whether it is regards to medication, medical tests or procedures or anything medical related.

We have to remember that none of us are trained medics and whilst we can post our experiences and / or advice we must tell the member to see their GP for a full diagnosis.

I know we all do it as we see a member post with similar symptoms so we post and say that we have had this and it was xyz. We have to remember that we do not know the full medical history for that person and we all post in good faith based on what we read.

We must always suggest that a member sees their GP for a full diagnosis but still offer our own experiences along the way.

I just want members to be aware of what advice they post in response to posts and to make it clear that they are posting their own individual experiences. I am guilty of posting my advice as well but it is based on my personal experience but I do try to remember to advise the member to see their doctor.

Thanks

I think you should start a section on suppliments

There is a sub-form on natural remedies. (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=24)
