Ive woke up this morning with a sore spot right in the middle of the roof of my mouth its not an ulcer it almost looks like a bruise and i can feel a kind of spot in the centre of the bruise but anything in my mouth worries me , im hoping ive just hurt it eating something and not noticed im always scared its the big c but its just been 5 mths since my last check up and all was fine so if it was anything bad it would be caught in time yes ? How long do you thin k i should give it before i go and see someone about it?
Im really fed up just now it seems to be one thing after another migraines , muscle twitching and now this i just cant seem to get a break from something happening to my body :((

you dont get a break because you are demanding that your body should be 'perfect' that is impossible

My rule which actually got me out of the worst of my HA was to give it 3 days.
If after 3 days there is no improvement then you should consider seeing your doctor, however you shouldnt rush down there straight away.
Only make an urgent appointment if after 3 days its actually getting worse, then go and see your GP asap.
If after 3 days its started to feel better, then give it a week and see how it pans out.
I can guarantee that most problems will have disapeared by the time the 3 days is up.

My mouth is still quite sore today although it doesnt feel as swollen as it was yesterday, but i was having a feel about as us HA sufferers do and i noticed that the roof of my mouth isnt hollow and goes in the way, mine is the opposite and comes down the way which can give the illusion of a lump does anyone else know what i mean, as my hubbys roof of mouth is the hollow one im now wondering if its always been like this or if its an abnormal growth im sure it was like this the last time i was at the dentist :(

Was at the doctors today about my muscle twitching and asked him to have a look at my mouth as it is still painful, he said it did look swollen and a bit red and raw looking, he didnt say anything else about seeing dentist or that, but my question is can doctors tell if it was anything suspicious in your mouth with them not being specialists in that area would they still know if it was a cancerous growth for example? :((
