Has anyone ever done a retreat in the UK to help with their anxiety please?

I've been suffering with it for over 10 years now and I'd quite like to try an intensive course to help with it of a few days to a week.

I have found one which looks quite good in Worcestershire but it's quite expensive, so I wanted to check if anyone had any experience of them before I committed to paying for it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

I have stayed as a guest in a Christian retreat in Dorset. It was not specifically for anxiety and they did not offer 'therapy' as such. The 'therapy' was working within the community which had a small holding plus a large house to run. I would be very careful before parting with any money. Visit the 'retreat' first and ask to see qualifications of the people who work there. Find out what the daily programme would be and how you would fit within that. Also practicalities such as whether there is anybody there who is medically trained and whether you would be expected to share a room. I hope that it works out for you.
