mirtazipine and weight loss??

Hi

Have been on mirtazipine for over 5 months now and pregabalin for around 5 weeks, both have caused an increase in my weight...I would say over-all I have gained a stone in weight which when already quite a lot over-weight is not good.

Whilst my main priority is getting my head straight etc and not been too concerned about the weight I would like to try and lose some...at least the weight I have gained whilst on the meds.

Anyone sucessfully lost weight whilst been on the meds?? Any tips?? And anyone know if it will make much difference reducing to 15mg (am currently on 30mg)??

On low dose I craved carbs, on 45mg I have no appetite and often dont even think of food until late at night when I realize I've eaten nothing all day.
Put about a stone on when at low dose, it's dropped of since the dose went up.

Oh dear.....hope the same doesnt happen to me!!! Cant do with any more gain!!!
