Cost of psychiatrist

Just wondered what the cost of seeing a psychiatrist is???

If you're referred by your GP to a NHS psych, then it's free. If you want to go privately, it's around £150 a session. It's worth asking though if they offer sliding price scales, as some private psychs who have a lot of patients offer this. Bear in mind that NHS psychs often practise privately too.
