I'm sure this has something to do with it. I know Claire Weekes talks about this in her book. I was also told once that when you wake up, your defenses are down, so you don't have the opportunity to "brace" yourself for the dreaded morning feeling.

Hi Trish, I am another of those that dread the morning, I go to sleep thinking it will be a bad day tomorrow and it is,,,,funny thing is how we tell ourselves that and feel negative, therefore we are negative.

I have tried various ways to change this, I try and set myself a goal for the next day, ie something nice, like painting my toe nails and think yeah that will make me more pretty and happy with myself,,something simple as that and when you have mustered the energy to do that you feel good about yourself.

Another thing I have recently started doing is, I purchased some worry dolls, they are tiny tiny little figurines, that live in a box by my bed in the day and at night before I go to sleep, I tell each one my worry, then place it under my pillow. Sounds strange you may think, but there is more to this than meets your eye, but telling your worries seperately, out loud, before bed, seems to pre emt your thoughts throughout the night and I have been waking up feeling generally more positivie.
I hope my input has been of use, or failing that good reading.

Awh, I got worry dolls when I was in school and I used to swear by them, until I felt uncool and got rid :|
