does anyone get breast pain with anxiety?Iam on 10mg of citalopram a day in week 7, worried as usual that its cancer, can anyone reassure me please

Cancer doesn't normally give you pain in the breast. Most likely to be a cyst if you can feel a lump. I had a cyst and it caused pain to touch and the area gave a warm feeling under the skin.

Breast pain can be caused randomly by many different things, hormonal changes often affect this. Don't worry about cancer.

I experience breast pain with anxiety, also with the fluctuations of hormones throughout the month. Hope you feel a little more reassured.xxxxx

Imogen hi Sorry you are suffering this pain i am not sure about the link to Anxiety but Hormones certainly effect our breasts the pain can be very bad for some ladies (me included ) sometimes linked to time of the mnth i was recommended Evening Primrose Oil but i would check it with your Gp and see what he advises
