i can feel my heartbeat in my head

i was just drifting off to sleep when i started getting ( what i think are ) palpitations ? like my heart felt like it was fluttering and i felt all weird.

anyway i've just sat up and for about a minute i could feel my heartbeat thumbing in my head , my head hurt too though , like a migraine .

I've had this sensation previously but only after exercise or when i've had a really bad migraine and normally it lasts a hell of a lot longer than a minute?

Now i'm worried i might have a heart problem or a tumor.

At times I thought that everybody around could hear my heart beating, its ectopic heartbeat but we can feel it all over the body - anywhere I guess.

I couldn not concentrate at times on anything, even on panicking, becuase i could only hear the beats and they were driving me mad.
I hope it will go away soon.

i get this normally when excercising but lately feel it almost every day at some point - i thought it was blood pressure problems as it feels like you can feel the blood pumping around you head, blood pressure is and always has been good though?!?!
