Hello I read the article in The Daily Mail and found this site. It is nice to know that there are other people out there and it would be nice to talk to people who know what it is like to have this illness.[^]

Hi
As a fellow sufferer I am interested to know how panic attacks affect others when they are driving. I have never met or spoken to anyone else who has had them while driving. It really is unpleasant (understatement of the year!) and helps to know I am not alone. I feel such an idiot as I have a responsible job and am a person who is reasonably confident...in a way that makes it worse as I get cross with myself!

Its great this site has got some national publicity via the Mail, but can I ask people to comment on the article under
Everything Else>Research/Media as a thread had been started there already. http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/lounge/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=41

If you want to ask about driving phobia, I would suggest a posting under Phobias. http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/lounge/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=13
