Hello guys,

I haven't been on here for a while - i've been having a course of CBT for health anxiety and it seems to be going well. I've just had abit of a slip this morning  and am looking for advice.

I have what seems to be an ulcer of some sort but it is on the inside of my gum, under my tongue. It looks like it is stemming from my filling in my tooth (which is quite substantial - it is most of the tooth and is a silver filling) and going down towards the back of my throat. It is red with yellowy looking streaks in it. My gland on that side of my neck feels painful and hot, as does my jaw. Any ideas  ? Anyone had this at all before?

Thanks all.

Sounds like an infection, see your doc.

Yes, I agree - or get yourself an appointment with the dentist, as it might be something to do with the tooth that it's next to.
