I have whooshing heartbeat noise in my ear and i keep worrying incase my face goes numb which it doesnt but i start to believe it is. And im giving myself headaches over the worry which makes me think even more that its an anuerysm

When i type about the whooshing into google it comes up with anuerysm... yeh it comes up with cancer, menieres syndrome and othr things but its ruining my life i cant get it out of my head!!

ive seen 5 doctors who all said ive got eustachian tube dysfunction and im very bunged up but this wooshing has been there for over a YEAR now and its driving me crazy. one doc thinks i cud have it indefinatly and to try not to think about it.

5 DOCS SAID THE SAME THING AND 2 NURSES. I SHUD BELIEV THEM SHUDNT I??? I mean if iwas walkin round pushin my body to the limits with panic attacks and anxiety with an anuerysm id b pretty unwell right????

Hi Gladyscout,
There, right there, out of your own mouth (or keyboard) - you KNOW your sane and rational self is trying to communicate with you!! Yes, you should believe what all your specialists have said. It sounds a miserable condition and I am so sorry you are suffering, but I think, if you try to relax, you might get some relief. I don't have this, but even I suffer from whooshing ears, stickiness in the ears, etc, when I am really, really tense and the HA is at its peak. When I stop thinking about it, the symptoms lessen.

Try some deep breathing and calm yourself down, if you can. You will be ok.

Hi Gladys, I'm sure if you have had it checked that many times then your ok, I know the symptoms are scary and it's hard for us to believe doctors sometimes cause our symptoms are so strong, I know I'm still not convinced all my symptoms are anxiety as I have them all the time. Hope you feel better soon. Ann
