I am so pleased that I bought a copy of the Daily Mail yesterday!
There I found what I had been looking for, people who knew what I was going through and were not going to tell me to "pull your self together" or "we all have days like that" I have felt like a freak, a failure for weeks since October actually when I had a virus. But this is not the first time I have had theses panic attacks, but always befor they have been likened to a time in my life - I am sure you have all had it said yourself, exams, moving house, changing job..... Now of course it's the menopause... NO it is not. At last I know I am not alone. I shall be back on this forum when I have read some more. But for now Thank you all for being there.

there's a place that I dream of when I sleep, so peaceful, so quite, I call it mother earth.

Hi Clarissa

Welcome to the forum. I expect many of us have been told to 'pull yourself together' before now. I know I have but no one here is going to say that to you.

You might like to start by having a read of the First Steps (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/default.asp?t=cms&c=firststeps) article.
