headache and brain worries

spent night in hospital,had a reasonably bad headache so went doc who thought he could see swelling behind my left eye so he sent me hospital,doc there thought there was swelling behind both eyes! so i was in mad panic mode then ,mhad to stay overngith and go see opthamologist yest morning and poss brain scan, but that was depending on opthamologist results as i was showing no other symptoms other than headache,seen the opthamologist ,they done loads scans of the back of the eye etc and there was nothing wrong in there ,all was fine,i said to to her the doc were on about a brain scan and she was oh i dont think they will do one now after this,so i was fine until i got home ,(still with a little headache which they said was due to sunuses and a trapped nerve in my neck) so now am thinking maybe they should have done the brain scan too just to make sure cant stop thinking about it

update, my doc just rang me asking how i got on !!! so i told him the whole story ,and he said i should be quite happy with the opthamologists report as she is a top specialist ,so am calmish again now until some other thought creeps into my mind ,dam anxiety eating away at everything

Hi I hope you feel easier now after talking to your GP, I suffer with extemely bad headaches which scare me silly. this I am told is anxiety and stress etc they do go away in the end without anything happening! I do know how you feel though with all the worrying thoughts, my mind is tomented daily by this anxiety which is one big pain:doh:
Try not to worry too much, easier said than done as i know and like i said hope you are feeling better now.
