whistling,please im so afraid

hi every now and again my mouth or nose whistles i usally clear my throat or nose and it goes away ,but its been happening maybe 5 times a day ,i just whistle .its really upsetting me,i smoke and im quitting it has upset me so much,does anyone else get this im so afraid ,i hate the thought of not being able to breathe.I read this can be stress ,my dad is very overweight and wheezes terribly when he even goes toilet and hes still ok right? so my whistling wont kill me .please somebody post back.

Hi Sam it is probably that your nose is blocked do you suffer with sinus problems or cattarh ?? i sometimes can hear myself whistle through my nose , I am sure it is perfectly normal but if you are concerned mention it to GP next time you visit .
