New to these forums

Hey there, I'm new to these types of forums. I'm a 32 year old female with GAD and health anxieties. Have been having a bad year for anxiety but recently was improving until I got an ear infection. Then it was back to square one, back to hysteria and panic attacks and feeling rather sorry for myself. I thought id try this site cos I'm sick of being the only person I know with this and thought it would be good to find others. I guess its just one day at a time again.

Normally I'm just generally anxious and always have lots of tension. I tend to worry continuously. Normally I try to manage this but every so often I tip into panic. This time because of nothing more than an ear infection. I freaked because I went deaf. I've suffered anxiety for 12 years. Currently taking citalopram and doing cbt, although my therapist thinks I may need to see a psychologist. I've just been having s look around this website and the info is great.
