Hello,

When I wake up, i feel pain on my chest and i feel muscle tension.
i also breath on the wrong way. i try to breathe in a plastic paper but it doesnt take it away. how long must i breathe through that plastic paper and are there any more trics? in the past my therapist told me to sing when i have this, i try that but it doesnt realy work. and distraction is a good thing, but i really want to try something different.
what is a good thing to do while having a panic attack ??
or when you feel anxiety going on.

One thing though is use a paper bag not plastic, and also try gripping your fists tight and then letting go this apparently burns off adrenaline.
Remember panic attacks cannot ever harm you, will them on, once we aren't afraid of them anymore they subside!
I have had a v paniky day today and have been employing these tactics, they defo help but I'm still a long way from being unafraid. Good luck xxxx
