I keep on getting bouts of ringing in my ears, mainly if I sit still or when I go to bed, and also dizzy and muzzy head. Any tips or advice would be very helpfull.

Heya I get tinnitus when tired or overly anxious. Practice relaxation techniques it sometimes helps. It's a symptom I think so not anything to be worried about :)

Hi,
I have had tinnutis for about 18 years now. It came from too much loud music, concerts etc.
I'm the same as Emm regarding anxiety making it more noticable.
It's certainly not got any worse over the years but I do find if I have a cold or sore throat it can aggravate it.
There are maskers that you can buy but I've never tried them and I'm sure you'll find info on these via the internet. :)

Yeah its a classic anxiety symptom, if you cant relax it away, the way i deal with it is to imagine the opposite sound- a very deep bass sound- because you see tinitus is alot to do with psychology, so the more you focus on it the louder it gets, so imagine the opposite noise, bass.
