I am really nervous about seeing family in 2 weeks.

So, in two weeks my Uncle and Aunt are coming over, and possibly a few of my cousins too. I haven't seen them in about 7 years, and I am extremely nervous about seeing them and I don't know why. I miss them a lot, but lately I have been panicking about them coming and staying. Any tips for reducing the anxiety?

Make sure you can have some time to yourself as well. I think you're probably feeling a bit worried that you won't get any privacy while you're seeing them.

Sometimes when i get excited my anxiety flares up...perhaps you are excited?
but i'd also understand if you fear after 7 years how you are going to entertain them?

As blue angel said, take time for yourself. Get some fresh air for the sake of fresh air, just walk or have a long hot bath and ensure you won't be disturbed.

Look after the little things and the big things will take care of themselves.
