advice please

Thank you so much for evryone who answered my post yesterday about popping into work, it really does help to know people are here who care.

Im feeling abit edgy today and my mind is racing at the thought of going back to work but thats not for 3 weeks!! bloody hope my meds will sort my head out in this time and stop these silly thoughts. Been taking meds for 3 weeks now.( prozac)
Do you think they will stop these thoughts???

Yes, the antidepressants should help stop you thinking in circles - it somehow becomes less important and you don't do it so much. It's quite difficult to explain, but it's almost as though something sorts out the wiring in your brain and stops it short-circuiting all the time. (it's actually the rise in serotonin in our brains, but we're not aware of that happening).

What I've found happens is that you suddenly find you get good days - they're a bit random at first, but eventually the number of good days overtakes the number of bad days.
