Worried about changing meds for panic

I stopped my fluoxetine today with a view to going back on venlafaxine as I have been so panicky even after 14 weeks on fluoxetine. I am so scared Im not doing the right thing though, I liked fluox because I didnt gain weight on it or feel tired all the time and what if I have only been anxious because I have been under the weather with a sinus infection anyway? I'm so worried. I think I was really anxious the whole time on fluox though so I hope I am doing the right thing. Did anyone else gain weight on venlafaxine?

Hello, I also take fluxoetine, and it often takes longer than 14 weeks to work, I was told 2 to 6 months (6 months being when it is the most effective) I think you should give it some more time if your nervous about changing
