Pain in my chest ?

Hi i have been having some sort of pain in my chest across the top of my bust feels like a tight feeling,its not always present! i went to my Dr's over a week ago because i had a bad cough and he said it was muscel strain but the cough has gone now and i am still getting this feeling.

He did listen to my chest and back,its a bit worring.

Chest pain can be caused by a number of things - one being costochondritis (which I suffer with from time to time). How long ago did your cough stop? Muscle strains can take a while to improve. If you're concerned, I would speak to your doctor again.

This is a reoccuring problem for me too. Some days are worse than others but everytime i bring up MRI to doc they think i am crazy because everything else checks out fine. I know some of it may be due to anxiety but i still beleive something is torn there. I do my best not ever think of it.
