Should i decrease dose from 40mg to 20mg or 30mg

Good morning everyone,

I started on 20mg of Citalopram back in May i was doing great then my anxiety started coming back in about June so the doctor put me up 40mg. Its been 6 weeks and I have not been right since i have felt really weak in the mornings and i am left with a nerveous feeling all day long. Should i try 30mg?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Best speaking to your GP for his/her input. We all react differently to diff meds and diff dosages. i know I may be stating obvious.

A lot can be trial and error to get the right dose for the right person. If you are planning on reducing maybe 40mg to 30mg a sensible option but I'd discuss it with GP

Thank you for replying i have made an appointment with my GP on friday to discuss what i can do.

Its driving me mad i also never ever had problems sleeping but now i am lucky if i can get to sleep before sunrise.
