Hi All,

I keep our front door locked when im in the house on my own, even though i know its locked i feel the need to check every now & then, i even do this when my fiance is home from work.

Just wondered am i going mad or does anyone else do this?

when i go to bed i sometimes get a horrible feeling i left the door or my car doors unlocked!! so i get up afew times to check!!! i once just woke up and felt sure the car wasnt locked and went out at 4 in the morn, in me nighty and slippers to check!!
So if your going mad im comin with you hun!! lol!!!

LOL you both made me laugh with what you said. ( Knowing my luck if i went out side in nighty & slippers id get locked out lol.

yes yes yes. we all have our wee rituals. mine is not walking on the cracks and going back to check certain things. not ocd in my opinion, just our we peculiarities that make us who we are

no feeling guilty about it, its just who you are and we love you despite it.lol

Yeah, don't worry about it. I check the back door is locked before I go to bed even when I know I locked it. It's a habit picked up from my dad.

I'm sure loads of people have funny little habits they perform every day.

I do the opposite during the day I have to keep the door on the latch when I am on my own, for fear of passing out and no one knowing or finding me.


Sounds daft too hey ! but we all do things differantly ! your not mad !

We all have our foibles and these arev just some of them and in these busy lives we lead, its no surprise that we forget a few things here and there.


No big deal at all unless it starts to be a continual or growing issue.
