Do you find your level of mental stress makes it worse?

Yes, I've had gastritis and yes, stress does make it worse because you produce more stomach acid and this in turn irritates your stomach even more. Have you tried a medication called Maalox? It's an old medication but it gives you some relief. You can buy it from some pharmacies.

I am currently on Ranitidine (300mg per day) and take Milk of Magnesia and Gaviscon.

I have also cut out solid food and only eat nutritional drinks (I have a prescription for Fortisip which contains all the nutrients and vits needed).
