Hi everyone im Jon and a 20 year old student. Cant help but think im the youngest here which is worrying!

Iv been suffering for a year now and made good progress but recently since my 2oth bday had a relapse. Im developing a complex about my girlfriend, i cant see her without feeling sick and not worthy. It so frightening to be unable to see the one you love and get support from!

Well im feeling low at the minute and wanted to introduce myself, if anyone else wants to say hi or has felt that confusion about a loved one then let me know, your advice could be comfoting.

Thanks anyways Jon

Hi Jon

Welcome to the forum.

You are by no means the youngest, i think Nicola mentioned the youngest is 11 years old.

Anyway you are in the right place for help & support & your certainly not alone.

A browse of the forum is a good way to get started.

jon feeling a fear that you do not love someone close to you is a common feature of nervous illness, be assured that you feel this way only because you are tired and confused about what i s happening to you

i at many times felt i did not love my husband or my daughter.

i hope we can help you feel less alone or weary

Hi Jon

Welcome aboard and lovely to see you here.

I think your fears are typical of a bit of low self-esteem possibly brought on as you are feeling a bit down and miserable.

You will get loads of support on here so stick around.

Hello Jon

Much of your anxiety is maybe fuelled by a low self esteem and lack of self confidence which you can address and improve.

When you talk to her what sort of a response do you get - are any of your fears founded ?
