Getting a repeat prescription

How do I go about getting a repeat prescription?
My doctor is on holiday for the next two weeks and I won't be able to get an appointment with any of the others, all I really need is a prescription.

If you pop into your doctors surgery they should be able to give you a form which can complete and hand back, give them a few days and then go and collect it.

Just a wee note of caution, I think it may depend on what the repeat prescription is for as with certain meds docs will want to see you before they prescribe.

I am on Citalopram (SSRI) and my doc will not put it on my repeat for my other meds, he wants to see me when a new prescription is due.

Maybe give the surgery a call and find out what their policy is?

Just explain that your current medication will run out before your doctor is back, i have done this before they got a surgery doctor to ring me back and i explained the situation to him and he written me a perscription and left it behind the reception for me to pick up.
