It just seems like my nerve endings are on fire most of the time, I get chronic pains in my arms, genitals, legs, chest, neck, back, feet and other places. Is this normal with anxiety?

Hello Mate,

Yeh im in exactly the same boat.. pains every where everyday ...

its so draining cause you just wanna feel like your old self !!!

My doc is confident that anxiety can cause this and i guess most of the other people on here experience it daily .. because of our anxiety, our nervous system is always on high alert causing muscles to tense resulting is aches and pains..

Just try some light excerise.. a long walk.. deep breaths

you will feel better, just gotta relax and keep your head up..

:yesyes: you will be fine mate..

Yeah this is all related to anxiety. It's horrible! I've only started to get all the chest and arm pains back again. One thing that I have been experiencing is liek a shaky feeling throughout my body or else like a vibrating feeling. I get so scared at this. Has anyone ever had this?

yeh another lovely anxiety symptom ..

Anxiety just over stimulates our nervous system triggering off aches, pains, numbness and trembling sensations.. I'm a relatively new member on here .. but I have read so many posts of similiar stories which relate to this thread..

I think the idea that the mind can create these symptoms is somewhat horrifying .. although we need to understand that the mind is a powerful tool ... and when we are full of this anxiety.. our nervous system is prepared to fight and we need to fight it back .. with light exercise.. relaxation and drinking plenty of water..anything that can burn off the energy created... the idea of eating the right balance of foods can aslo play an essential role..
