Swollen little finger - right hand

Hello everyone..

Just looking for some advice as I really dont want to pester my doctor more than I already have .. I keep making emergency appointments and there are more people out there that need them ..

I have a swollen little finger.. right hand.. its not massive but considerably bigger than the other.. Although a little worried as im worried about everything else.. I am just trying to ignore it ..

has anyone got any advice on how to reduce the swelling?

Any help would be great..

Try to keep the finger upright Adam .You could try a cold compress with some ice .It may help .Did you bang it or maybe it was a bite from a mozzy ? It will go down in anything between a few hours to a few days . T/C Sue

ive had it for two days... its doesnt really hurt unless i put pressure on the sides top or nail?

I dont know ifs a bite.. ive done a lot of hours at work which I have to use my hands alot .. but im not sure if that would cause it :wacko:

Sounds like it could well be caused by over use .Its just fluid ,it will go Try to rest it and keep it upright as I said .Sue x

doc says hot water will help blood flow .. i hope it goes soon cause i cant shift it off my mind
