Hi all :) I thought I'd better introduce myself before launching into loads of postings!

I'm Bev, female, will be 38 on 12th of this month, married, no kids, lots of dogs and cats :)

I have a severe vomiting phobia which I've had since just before my teens. Over the years, the fear progressed into panic attacks and verged on agoraphobia and I also went through a really awful spell of monophobia. Over the past 7 years or so, I've made a fair amount of progress although I still struggle to go to many places on my own (I'm OK if I go with my husband). But - I'm still in the grip of the dreaded emetophobia.

I find myself here with you now because on Monday of next week, I am going into hospital for some surgery. I'll start a thread about that in the phobias forum.

Anyway, thats me and why I'm here [B)]
