And we have decided on a way forward from this.

At the weekend I'm going to start back on citalopram. He offered to sign me off work for the initial adjustment but instead we agreed if it gets too bad to change to maybe fluxotine (sp?) or prozac. Either way he feels that it will be a short term treatment and will be hoping to wean starting in about 6 months (if all goes as expected - I have taken it before) and I will be referred to a one last 'ditch' therapy. Not sure of which type but the specialists in the PCT will evaluate based on my notes and previous attempts.

Of course referrals do take time so I have some self-help resources in the meantime.

He was far more thoughtful than previous times I have seen him and I am feeling more hopeful. He reassured me my symptoms are 'normal'.

In two months on those evaluation scores I haven't changed for anxiety (19) and have gone from 11 to 12 on depression.

I feel like I'm starting over again after 6 years but maybe this time it will be the road to changing this (fingers crossed)
