View Full Version : Which Vits and Food?

I need some advice please. 5 weeks ago, I had a 48 hour panic attack, most terrifying thing that ever happened to me. Since then, I am on meds (Olanzapine) and am seeing a Counsellor, which is going well.

But I want to really look at my diet and cut out stuff that triggers anxiety and make sure I am eating stuff that alleviates anxiety.

I don't drink, and I gave up smoking a month ago.

Multivitamins

Which ones (and dosage) should I be taking to help with anxiety and mild aenemia

Foods and Drink

Apart from using common sense and eating healthily which I am doing, (most of the time)....anything specific that might help?

Thank you so much. :hugs: I am now taking a multi vit which has all the B Vits included. We eat salad every day for lunch, we have oily fish once or twice a week, and when we have bread and pasta, it is wholewheat. I have natural liquorice sometimes as well, I love that, and its good for iron, I think!

Hi hun, any green veg will aid anaemia, if its bad you may need folic acid. Vit b complex is supposed to be fab for some with anx and panic, talk to your chemist!? hope you feel better soon. xxxx:hugs:

Thank you so much. :hugs: The multi vit I am taking has folic acid and all the B vits. And I love green veg. So weird, though this is so horrible what I am going through, the past 5 weeks, I have to look at the positives. I am always thinking about what I am eating and drinking and just want it to be healthy now. I gave up smoking 4 weeks ago, after being a smoker for over 15 years, and I don't drink alcohol anyway. So as much as I hate what I am going through, I know, in the long run, its a good thing as well. You are what you eat, and all that!!
