I have been advised to come down on my meds from 60mg to 50mg and so on.I started to come down last Tuesday.

I have been very snappy, tired very low don't want to do much.Am I depressed or is it withdrawal symptoms.

I have an allergy to something at the moment,my eyes are burny, and running and my nose, could this be part of it as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

My parents are finding it hard to live with me,but I never get anytime to myself, always helping others. My dad understands me,mum doesnt.

I have an alcoholic brother who has bipolar!!!!!!! Im always stressed out.But I need to come down on my meds.

Doctor wanted to change them as I have been on citalopram for many many years,Im scared to change because of all the horrid feelings!!!!!!!!
Advise needed please.xxxxxxxxxx

I was on Cit as long as you, but i went about 2 months without them and the withdrawal symptoms really got to me, anxiety, low mood, no motivation, snappy, quick to anger and basically just feeling rotten. I told my doc about it and with a joint decision im back on 20 MG. Since you were on a high dose for a much longer period of time, i can imagine you will get bad withdrawal symptoms. Just try carry on lowering the dose, hopefully you'll level out again.
