to give me a smear test??

I want one after the whole jade goody thing but im only 23. The minimum age is 25 apparently. I would really like one though. Can i ask for one through my local gyncaology department??? i asked at a sexual health clinic and a snobby nurse just said 'ur too young for that'

You gp certainly could refer you to gynae for investigations because of the heavy bleeding, but probably not for a smear because of your age. Im sorry you feel anxious over this, maybe talking through your fears and the reasons behind it to your gp may change their mind? x:winks:
