Clomipramine insomnia?

So I have just started taking clomipramine and have a terrible time trying to get to sleep. I have taken them at night time but maybe this isn't the best time for me? Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any advice? I'm exhausted!

I had the opposite thing at the beginning Jen, couldn't stay awake. But it did resolve itself after a week or so maybe your prob will resolve itself too, even if it's the other way round. I've been off it for over a year now but I seem to remember at some point I was struggling to get to sleep and the doc telling me to take it very early evening rather than later on. Hope it sorts itself out for you, it actually worked very well for me for years xx
