cannot drink alcohol after stopping citalopram

Ive been off citalopram for about 9 weeks now and feel totally fine, until I drink alcohol. Once I have a few drinks the next day I feel weird hot flushes, slight dizziness and anxiousness.

Has anyone had the same symptoms?? Im not a huge drinker but if this carries on I will be a tee-total which would be pretty crap as I enjoy wine/beer now and again.

I get the same with alcohol. It affects your blood sugar level - and low sugar levels can make you feel anxious, sick, dizzy, shaky, hot flushes. Alternatively, you might have a sensitivity to sulphites (which are in beer and wine) and cause those symptoms also.
