Sorry to post I'm in a panic can't get any air, pains in my ribs and I'm hot. I've alot on my mind at the moment and I just keep trying to push my problems to oneside instead of dealing with them. I just don't know the way round things x

ok hun, i'm here, do u have a paper bag around? i know it's hard but try breathing in for 5 and out for 7, in the paper bag if you can or cup your hands around your mouth. try and just focus in on your breathing, you are going to be ok, trust that these symptoms wont harm you, they are just unplesant and they will pass, i promise. keep with the breathing. xxxx

Hi H26, sounds like a carbon copy of me 2 nights ago :( Do you have any Gaviscon? I lie on my tummy when I feel this bad, as it can clear the nose and help clearer breathing.... You know that the more you try to "gasp, or suck in" big gulps of air, the harder it will be. Lavender oil is a really helpful thing to have too.... I get incredibly overheated when I am panicking. You have GOT to SLOW IT DOWN :) If you have rib pain, just take shallow, slow breaths for a while. It works for me. You'll be just fine in a few minutes :) xx

I'm trying to breathe in paper bag. Just feel shakey and my chest tight. Don't know how I will get through it so much on my mind.

the way you are feeling is quite normal, usually takes me a good 20 mins to come out of a panic attack, just keep going. the chest pain is scary and it's normal to feel shakey but it will subside. keep with the breathing. you are going to be just fine, i promise, i've been there (last night in fact) and so have so many others, it is the most horrible thing i know it is. just stay strong, you are going to be ok. xx

i know how u feel sweet, i really do. but, it's the anxiety and panic making you feel this way. sorry i dont really know your history, how long has it been going on? im here, tell me about it if u like, talking helps and it might distract you. im here for you, we will figure this out. are you on meds or seeing a consellor or anything?

ok well that is positive, you are making steps to try and help yourself. that's a big achievement, and im sure you will find seeing the therapist helpful, i see one and i think it helps a lot. xx
