I've been told I need to re-train my brain so that it doesn't over-react to certain situations and cause this unnecessary anxiety.
But my brain has been taught to tell me when I'm ill - in fact I think I was born with that intuition.
Now that I seem to have anxiety related symptoms - and I feel just as ill as if they were actual illness related symptoms I promise you! - do I have to tell my brain that it mustn't react to this because it's not real?
I'm very confused about how to deal with this.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there Becky

Retraining your brain is kinda the way forward, its hard tho coz part of how we react to things is in our upbringing.

But there is hope so hang on in there.

There is a post on here titled I think " has anyone every fully recovered from panic attacks" and joannap has shared how she has fought back.
It's simple, inspiration but takes courage to do so.
I read her post and could have cried - coz i thought I was going to suffer forever but I am trying her approach so watch this space.

I hope this helps in some way x
