Hi folks

I just wanted to send some hugs, strength and positive thoughts to our lovely friend Di and her family as they are going through a pretty tough time at the moment.

As you will all know, Di is one of these people who constantly thinks of others and has their best interests at heart. I want to turn the tables and let her know how much we are all thinking of her.

Aww thank you lisa, what a lovely thing to do.

And thank you for all your kind words everyone.

My 21 year old son has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and was waiting for a machine to be strapped to his heart to find out if he has a leaking heart valve, however he has started suffering with breathlessness and has had to go to hospital.

I don't live near to him, as i moved away some months ago and i am terribly worried about him, as of yet i have no news and am sat waiting to hear something, he doesn't drink or smoke and is a keep fit fanatic, so its a big concern to me that he can't even alter his lifestyle.

So your replies are a great comfort to me and hopefully the hospital will find out what is actually wrong with him and sort him.

You are such a great comfort, my son has been sent to a bigger hospital for more tests over an hour ago so i'm still sat waiting to hear of any news.

They have given him indigestion tablets for now and sent him home.

They said they need to wait for the cardiac memo machine to record what is going on with his heart, so i guess it is just a waiting game.

Good news!

My son had thorough tests done this morning and they said although he has a murmur, his heart is healthy and doesn't need to have the cardio memo fitted, this is great news to me as i and he have peace of mind now.

I feel comfort from the fact that he has been seen by a specialist, they know their job and alot more than me.

Thank you all for your good wishes, they have been a great comfort, the support i have had and the pms have meant so much so "Thank you"
