Hi - I have been lurking here off and on for a long time. I'm having a hard time now and thought it was time to join.

I am 41 years old and have had anxiety and fear issues ever since I can remember. I have been in and out of therapy. Right now out. Also off and on medication. I am supposed to be taking Lexapro and have not been taking it like I should. I will restart it today.

Most of my anxiety centers on health issues. Every disease I hear of I think I have. I also have other anxiety issues but this is the one that brought me here.

I hope I can get some help and support here and not feel so alone.

Lots of getting it under control has to do with recognising that a little knowledge and a finger on google does not make you a specialist doctor

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.
