cracked/dry mouth from paxil?

I am very worried about a possible side effect of paxil (peroxetine) 20mg, I have been taking this for 7 days now and the sides of my mouth have split and scabbed over,it feels really dry and painful when I open my mouth, its just the side of my mouth and just now they started bleeding slightly, I can't help but pick at it, what should I do? is this the paxil or do I have herpis or something else discusting wrong with me???? I would appreciate any similar experiences as Im freaking out! Thank you

Cracked corners of the mouth can sometimes be a sign of vitamin and/or mineral deficiency. Being anxious and depressed often leads us to loss of appetite and a neglect in healthy diet. If this is the case, maybe you could try vitamin supplements? And keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

Vaseline helps soothe the soreness...or nivea creme is excellent (the thick stuff in the little blue pot)...or tea tree oil but it stings like hell !!!!:ohmy:
