fibroids

hi all well im new to the site and at the minute im quite low,i am convinced that im going to die at an early age and cant stop focusing on it :weep:

i had a dream a few years ago that i would die of cervical cancer at 35 and im now 33 nearly 34 :weep::weep:
well ive been sat here thinkin "bad mistake when u feel low hey"
and i remember my doc tellin me i had a fibroid/fibroids last year well i seem to think she said it was nothing to worry about
but my mind is playing tricks with me so im now convinced that is something to worry about and im scared yet again
if anyone can help i would really appreciate some convincin:)

Hi there

I have fibroids and have been told they will not do anything about them unless they become really troublesome - I believe they can give you heavier periods but are not serious.

I assume you had an ultrasound scan that showed these?

hi yes it was an ultra sound scan that showed them up so are they nothin to worry about x

Nope unless they become troublesome like I said.

I was told they would go on their own when I had the menopause.

i found out i had fibroids when i had a miscarriage few years back ,there nothing to worry about like nicola said they can give you heavy periods though but they are benign take carexxx
