karlie

there are some previous posts on this.

Go to the search facility at the top of the page underneath "The Rabble" and type it in and you will find them.

Do people find that it makes them very sleepy? I have been given a prescription for it but i am on a very demanding course and i'm worried i won't be able to cope if i'm asleep all the time (i barely cope now).

Thanks

I have been on these for nearly two weeks now, I sleep well most nights now, although it is about 5hrs tops. I feel 'monged out' nearly all day though and just start to feel better then my next dose is due. My mood is very low. No other side effects though so far. Have still had anxiety & panic attacks. I know its early days on these for me.

Depression has ruined my life so I take these pills in the weak hope that they will help.

regards,

I've been taking them since before Christmas.
They're a terrific help if you are having sleeping problems, have also killed off my health anxiety but I still have the general anxiety and if anything my mood is possibly slightly lower. Still in all, I feel much better on them.
The best thing to do is take them about a half an hour before you want to go to bed as it's a real struggle to stay awake any much longer than that.
The main side effect is supposed to be weight gain. But I've only put on about 2lbs in my four months or so on them. I do exercise four or five times a week, which might have something to do with it.
You might find you get sugar cravings particularly in the immediate aftermath of taking them. The way to avoid this is just to head off to bed with a pint of water on your bedside. If you have any other questions, you can PM me any time.
