Citalopram + tiredness = headaches forever?

HIya

I have a crippling headache, I haven't had much sleep recently as my daughter has been ill. I have suffered with quite bad headaches sporadically recently. I know Citalopram can give you headaches but are you likely to get worse headaches depending on some factors like tiredness even when you have been on it for a while?

I went up to 20mg about 5 weeks ago having been on 10 for about 5 months

Hi Scorpion I think you really need a good nights sleep from the sound of it, lack of sleep usually results in tension which aids..headaches. Youve also been stressed seeing your child ill. An early night in order for you....x nice bath/shower and relaxing breathing in bed will help. All the best to you x:wacko:

I agree, fatigue really takes it out of your body.

You could always as your doctor for a short term sleep aid to get through the worst of it. I know its more pill popping but sometimes you just got to get through the hard bits.
