Hi all,
I've read through as many topics as i can but I can't find anything specific for whats been happening to me. I had a couple of drinks last week(wednesday night), and thursday when I woke up I had pins and needles in my right arm and hand. I thought I must have slept on it funny but over a week later, I've still got no sensation in my right arm. Been to docs and they said they can't think of anything that would cause that apart from anxiety?!!! Anyone else gone through anything similar? I can feel deep down beneath my skin but if I pinch my skin, its completely numb. Is it an anxiety symptom peeps?

Hi Cookie, I have tingling permanently. I've had it for about 9 months now. Its in both arms & never goes away, which leaves me in a constant state of anxiety. I also used to suffer from repetitive strain injury, too much typing, the feelings are extremely similar. It is just a symptom of anxiety, one of the more common ones as well I think.

Try not to worry too much about it.

Shell,

I get tingling and some numbness, but it only happens at certain times of day or when not relaxing. For many weeks I would wake up with a numb finger or hand but very recently that has gone away.

During the day, my stress levels seem to build up and my right foot goes numb and tingly, especially when concentrating at the PC for example. I may go downstairs for a coffee break and it recedes. And as soon as I go to bed, it goes in an instant. I suppose there is no physical pressure then on the nerve endings in my foot?

Although I can see this is all anxiety, it is very unpleasant.

Take care,

Ray

Well, my arm is still weird, but I'm still alive so obviously it's nothing drastic![:o)]
Just another symptom to add to my ever-growing list! Lol. Thanks again guys, appreciate the feedback.
