loss of sex drive..help

i have completley lost my sex drive, is this an anxiety side effect? i am thinking maybe it might be a citalopram side effect too

anyone else had this problem and any tips?

yes anti depressents are notorious for killing your sex drive pff ive been on citalopram and sertraline and fluoxetine and find fluoxetine have the least effects on sex drive x

I lost my sex drive months ago and not on any meds, doctor told me its definitely down to my anxiety problems :weep: xxx

I am the same, really don't want it at all, i cant concentrate or anything because of my anxiety.... i am too on citalopram but only early days tonight will be my 5th day of taking it.... what a nightmare im going through too :(

Im only 18..... and this happens all the time. I just cant be arsed with it... dont 'feel' that way much :S x x x

Many anti-depressants cause this - as well as anxiety and depression. Sexual problems are a key reason for people stopping medication, apparently.

ive looked into this in great detail and citalipram and escitalipram/cipralex of which im on are the worst ssris for killing your sex drive and they do, it just takes alot of imagination and patience..
